subnetting problem
Asslamo-Alaikum Brother Idrees,

thanks for your replying....
hope you are well

it would loved to read your explanation for me but
When I read Your explanation there are one things that I want to ask that

IP 10.0.0.0/8 while doing subnetting you borrow 7 bits of host portion that is required for 90 hosts here me and you are going on same track. Now confusing is that you are taking these 7 bits of host portion from the second octat that is g2(Group2) but according rule for making subnetting we start reserved the bit from left side. if we take it from the left side it would be 8+8+8+1 = 25 bit for network portion and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.128. please explain why you take 7 bits host from second octat. I didn't understand this point.

subnetting problem
Assalamo-Alaikum
Dear Kashif Sir and All My Friends

Please Help…………

I am facing big problem while making subnetting which is below:
Requirement 90 Hosts per subnet and i am using class A, B, and C
When I make the subnet using Class A range that is 10.0.0.0/8
and according to the Rule making subnetting I reserved 7 bit for host and the rest of give to network portion. After that
I got the result as below:
10.0.0.0/25
Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.128
IP add Range is :
10.0.0.0 - 10.0.0.127
10.0.0.128 - 10.0.0.255
10.0.1.0 - 10.0.1.127
10.0.1.128 - 10.0.1.255
10.0.2.0 - 10.0.2.127
10.0.2.128 - 10.0.2.255
........and so on upto 225

In short: total Subnet = 2n = 225 = 33554432 Subnets
        Hosts per subnet = 2n-2 = 27-2 = 128 hosts
And I think till here from my side everything is going correct
Now while taking Class B address 172.16.0.0/16 with same Requirement of 90 hosts
And do the same activity on it. I got confused because is that
According to the Rule making subnetting which I have learned from your videos
My confusing point is here Total Subnets = 2n = 225 = 33554432 Subnets in Class B. How is this possible??? Whereas the Maximum Subnets in Class B is 65532. Dear sir please clear this point because I cannot take steps further without removing this confusing.

Thanks in Advance
